WhiteLight

Tucked into the Himalayan foothills near Solan, WhiteLight is an intimate retreat space held by Varun and Christina. It is a place to step away from noise, rest in nature, and return to yourself.

Come when the noise becomes too much.

WhiteLight is for those seeking stillness rather than stimulation. Here, there is no pressure to perform, no need to explain yourself, and no fixed way to arrive. You can slow down, breathe, walk, meditate, sit under trees, and let the space do its quiet work.

A retreat without rush.

WhiteLight Solan is a small, nature-immersed retreat space on a 27-acre farm near Solan, Himachal Pradesh. It has grown organically over the years as a place for deep rest, healing, reflection, and simple living.
It is not a mass wellness resort and not a guru-centred ashram. It is a quiet Himalayan home shaped by mud-and-clay architecture, open spaces, trees, silence, and the lived presence of the people who care for it.

Quiet by design.

WhiteLight is intentionally intimate. The focus is not on packed schedules, performance, or constant activity. The focus is on presence. The land, the silence, the architecture, the food, the walks, and the rhythm of the day are kept simple so that you can hear yourself again.

Silence. Nature. Space.

Days at WhiteLight are simple. You may wake with birdsong, sit in meditation, walk through the forest, rest under the big tree, read, journal, share quiet meals, or do nothing at all. The invitation is not to fill time, but to feel it again.

Ways to be here.

WhiteLight welcomes people for silent retreats, reflective stays, yoga and healing immersions, conscious leadership conversations, creative pauses, and small group retreats. Some stays are guided. Others are intentionally open, giving you the freedom to meet yourself in silence.

Who WhiteLight is for

For people who need a real pause. WhiteLight may be for you if you are tired of moving too fast, carrying too much, or feeling disconnected from yourself. It is for seekers, professionals, founders, healers, artists, couples, friends, and quiet travellers who want depth rather than entertainment. • You want silence, not stimulation. • You want nature, not noise. • You want rest without being rushed. • You want to reflect, heal, meditate, or simply be. • You are comfortable with simplicity and open space.

Built close to the earth.

The WhiteLight campus is quiet, earthy, and intentionally simple. Mud-built structures, cottages, a temple, a yoga space, trees, open sky, walking paths, and the surrounding jungle create a feeling of being gently held by nature. There is beauty here, but not the polished beauty of a resort. It is the beauty of raw land, handmade spaces, silence, birds, mist, sunlight, and nights under the stars.

Held by Varun and Christina.

WhiteLight is held by Varun and Christina. Varun’s journey has moved through technology, entrepreneurship, investment, the Bhagavad Gita, hypnotherapy, and inner work. Christina brings a quiet presence shaped by yoga, healing, art therapy, and deep listening. Together, they hold WhiteLight not as something to run, but as something to protect: a simple space where people can find their own way.
